Bunnies live an average of 5-10 years, so before you decide to take one home make sure you want to make the commitment. We recommend keeping only one bunny per household. Once a bunny reaches sexual maturity they become territorial and prefer to have their homes to themselves. This will also ensure that you don't have any unexpected offspring!

Here at Serramonte Pets, we recommend getting your bunny altered. This will not only ensure you have a healthy and happy bunny at home, but will also prevent unwanted pregnancies and  rabbit overpopulation. The Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA offers reasonable rates to spay or neuter your bunny.
